How can i make a cat cage into a ferret cage?

I want to buy a new cage for my ferret. I am looking at the cat cages as they are large and spacious. How would i transform a cat cage into a ferret cage? ie: more levels, ramps, playing area etc. If you could help would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou in advance to anyone that has helped me! :-)
