My husband is in jail and hes not allowed to contact me can he still receive my letters?

im 8 months pregnant and my husband was arrested for domestic violence. this is a second arrest n hes in jail till his court date. he sent 2 letters to my family members saying hes sorry n blah blah and said hes not allowed to contact me so im guessing a no contact order? but anyways i was wondering if i send him a letter will he receive it in jail? and do i get in any trouble? i dont know whats going on with his case all i know he has court in 12 days
