Need advice on buying a car?

I am looking for a car (sedan) that looks great but I could buy for about $12,000 (Australian dollars). Needs to be kinda spacious too, I'm 6 ft 5", And need to carry my drumset around sometimes. I know it's kindof a specific request, But any help or other suggestions would be great!
